Grade 8 for 2027 applications will open on 12 December 2025!

Howick High School, located in the picturesque KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, in the village of Howick, is an English medium, co-educational High School. It is often said that the community spirit and wholesome values that our school instills in its learners, makes it a special place for young adults to be educated and developed into well-rounded, happy individuals who are productive members of society.

An application form is available online via: www.howickhigh.co.za/admissions. We recommend that you complete the application online and upload the requested documentation by 28 February 2026.

Open Day – 17 February 2026 for Howick Preparatory Grade 6 and 7 learners
18 February 2026 for Grade 6 and 7 learners from all schools

The program begins with an address by our Principal at 08:00 in the school hall and is structured to give both you and your child a taste of what Howick High has to offer, enabling you to explore the learning environment and view our facilities. The experience will keep you engaged until 12:00. Those who would like to view our weekly-boarding facilities will be taken on a tour of Midmar House from 12:00 to 12:30. Learners should wear their school uniform and we ask that they do not bring their school bags. Refreshments will be provided.
